There are many high quality recording programs, eg Audacity, that are really easy to use on your own laptop or desktop. You can export your recordings as MP3s for the web or WAVs for CD. Not hard to learn to do yourself.

I am a 6th grade teacher in Costa Mesa, CA with a background in theatre and television, including writing/directing/producing two television series for the local Costa Mesa cable station. What you're describing sounds very intriguing. Please let me know how I might become involved.

I am a Drama Therapist and have been working for four years with a gifted high school senior who has a wide range of voices, and is on the Autistic Spectrum. He is been invovled in the drama program throughout his years in high school, as well as Berkeley Reperatory Theatre. He is a senior at Skyline High School in Oakland California, and has been accepted at California State University/East Bay in the fall.

I believe this would be an amazing way to channel his creative energy.

Looking Forward to hearing from you soon,

Heidi Neipris Wexler

Hi =] So I can see i'm not qualified in the same way as others, but I am sixteen years old and I run a program here in Calfornia aimed at encouraging young kids. I've found that young children relate more to a less mature voice when listening to literature because it feels less like work. Well that's my idea anyway. I'd love to help out so feel free to contact me.

Hi!
This sounds right-up-my-alley! I'm a singer-songwriter with over 20 CD releases for family audiences... including musical versions of many classic children's stories. I'd be delighted to hear more about the project. I work with a wonderful sound studio in Madison, WI.
