The Red Woman I wondered why the cafe was getting colder. I lookedoutside the window and saw my answer. The shadows were closing in again. I had been insidethe cafe all day, the inside being warm and cozy, compared to the icy frost outdoors. Butthen the shadows started coming closer. They had left, after a while, but then the Red Woman camein. I didn’t know her name.

The floors were old and scuffed but regal nevertheless, so whenever I saw them I was reminded of the days when a creaky old house with rusty nails leaching through the peeling white paint was fresh and new, not a relic of a bygone era by the side of a road where motorcycles revved their engines late into the night.

On the long dull pathway, the jubilant forest seemed alit with the sunlight peeking through the leaves of trees. Not mentioning, how lush it was!!! The deep, verdant grass felt softer than any bedsheet. The trees bark seemed to has all universe compassion filled inside. As the sun set the view turned down from paradise to nightmare.

After many painstaking hours, I was transformed into a girl lying in lush green grass, covered with peach pink blooms. I was in rapture as my universe was created. Every bud impeccable, every hue filled with hope.
